About 3 years after Digital sold us out to Cabletron, and we scattered
like dandelion seeds (some before, some after, some much before),
I'd think it's time to get the DNPG engineers together for a reunion
of sorts.  No doubt many of us would enjoy seeing each other again.
(Maybe we ought to limit recruiting discussions to just the
first 15 minutes of each hour).

I'll try to coordinate an informal event.  I propose Monday night,
November 20, probably at one of these places:
 - Rusty Scupper (Acton/Nagog park)
 - Sheraton or Holiday or whoever Inn at the Rt 111 ext in Boxboro
 - Old Oaken Bucket
 - Westford Regency

SO:

1. Let me know ASAP if you might attend so I can get an early estimate
   and figure out how big a crowd we'll have. 

   If I don't hear from you, you won't get any more email !!!

2. Send this to any and all ex-DNPG'ers you care to... for privacy
   reasons, I'll hide the addresses of the initial recipients, so my
   apologies for the multiple copies some people will inevitably get...

3. Make any suggestions/comments on where/how to have this event.
   Vote for your preference of a location, though the number of people
   could limit our choices.

4. Volunteer to help me if you've ever worked with one of these places
   to coordinate the descent of an unorganized crowd onto the premises.

5. Let me know if you want to appear on a 'where-they-are-now' web
   page (I prefer not to make that a list of email addresses, just
   simply a loose record of our scattering).

I'm hoping that we might see all sorts of folks that worked on
networking products at DEC, GIGAswitch (FDDI/ATM), DECHub, adapters,
DELNI, DEQNA, anything... from AD to test and mfg and anywhere in
between.
